I have been trying to upgrade my contract with Vodacom. It has been an absolute disaster. I have been passed from one person to the next for the past week, and still my problem is not resolved. The answer I still receive, is that it will take another 3 - 5 working days to resolve. I have spent hours on the phone with their call centre, being passed from one person to the next. Every time, being asked the same questions (what's your cell phone number, confirm your id number, what bank do you bank with, what account do you use, what is your physical address) - next person, same questions. Still no one to assist to resolve the problem. I have received the wrong contract, the wrong phone, and now no Sim card, because their customer services department did not say that you need to order a new Sim for an upgrade.
