Recently found out that an upgrade was done on my contract and I did not authorize this upgrade. I received a quote on email about the upgrade and the address was not my address and also contact number however all details about the contract was mine. I contacted Vodacom to cancel the contract since it's due to expire in Oct. They told me that I have done an upgrade already for a Samsung S4 and by the way this existing contract is a data contract. I explained that I received the quote but I did not request this upgrade, I had to speak to manager & she told me they will listen to call recordings & I have to do an affidavit that I did not do this upgrade this was on the 14th Aug. On the 15th the manager got back to me and said they listened to recordings and a lady phoned and gave my details and even passed their security questions but luckily the phone came back undelivered as there was no one at delivery address. We finalized that they are cancelling the upgrade & I should send affidavit for them to investigate further. I still had to phone in and cancel the contract. Today I phoned to cancel contract & am told phone is being delivered today as there is an upgrade request done
