CELLULAR TELEPHONE UPGRADE

My Vodacom cellular contract was due for an upgrade but as I was happy with the cell phone that I had, I decided not to upgrade at this time. I was shocked to get an SMS from Vodacom advising that my contract had been upgraded. When I phoned them and said I had not upgraded my contract, I was told that it had been done on line and that I had to prove that I had not upgraded the contract. After many heated phone calls to the call centre, I sent through an affadavit stating I had not upgraded my contract. The following day I received another SMS to advise me that my cell phone would be delivered shortly. When I called in again and queried this I was given the details of the upgrade as well as the address that the cell phone was going to be delivered to. This was not my address! What I fail to understand is that they have all these security questions that they ask you when you phone in, yet someone can upgrade the contract without my knowledge. I believe it was an "inside" job as who else would know my contract was due for an upgrade. Finally a week later I was able to cancel my contract as the phone had been returned by the the courier Company.
