Re-joining Vodacom seems to be the wrong choice –

It's been 7 years since I have REJOINED Vodacom and must say I was happy with their service until now!

Good news! I'm do for an upgrade - bad news! I'm thinking of leaving Vodacom! On Sunday 28th July 2013 I did my upgrade over the net. One of my friends was sitting next to me making sure we complete the upgrade process correctly. The website notified me that I was due for an upgrade and that my upgrade process was a success. I received an e-mail the next day with my order confirmation number. On Thursday I received my phone (4 days later). I also received an SMS stating my line is activated and my new number is xxx??? I did an upgrade not a new contract? I phoned Vodacom more than 10 times on Friday to find a solution.
Anyway, 19 days after ordering the phone, I still sit with the (wrong) phone and a sim card I don't want to use! My old phone is not functioning properly so I actually don't have a phone. I have phoned Vodacom regularly and just don't get the help or good service you should provide! On Tuesday a friendly lady at Vodacom escalated my issue and they will reply within 48 hours! You have missed the 48 hours! Tell me what's going on??!!!
