My contract is linked to my mom's contract and she passed away early in June. Since then, MTN has cut off my service twice this month after I explained the situation. To find out how I should proceed to do the transfer I phoned their legal department and they told me one thing, then I phoned 808 and they told me another thing, then I went to the Brooklyn shop and they tell me yet another thing. The three stories do not correspond in terms of what documentation I need. After phoning 808 and paying a weird amount my phone was switched back on, thankfully. So I figured I'll listen to the Brooklyn guy and wait for the executor's letter before I do the transfer. We still don't have the letter (which is out of my hands) and this morning I woke up to a disconnected phone. I understand why they cut it off even after I paid, but what must I do? Who do I listen to? And why didn't anyone let me know that they were going to cut it off before doing so? It is not right. I would have been able to ask my questions and explain the situation. So I will go to another shop today and see what the fourth story is. I have been with MTN for 13 years but, nowadays, I am so disappointed.
