I'm due for an upgrade in October, but leaving for Europe in two weeks time, so contacted MTN via MTNActive to see if I could get an early upgrade.
They came back to me to say I need to call in, something I hate. I called in the first time and was put through to a different department, Thabo who I explained the situation to, apart from being a loyal subscriber for more than 10 years with the same number.
He had to go speak to his supervisor and the call cut, I called back and the person check the system and said it was approved.
What I though would be a nightmare was really a dream come true, thank you Thabo and thank you MTN, here's to another decade of great dealings with you!!!
