My first cellular contract was taken with Vodacom as early as 2002 a year after I began working, and I am still with the company to date. I currently hold 2 contracts with the company.
My disappointment with Vodacom has been caused by the Supervisors in the upgrade department. In the past 3 weeks I have contacted the upgrade call centre 3 times and on all these occasions I have been promised that a supervisor would call me to listen to my case and on no occasion has it happened! Today I finally managed to get through to a supervisor, who instead of focusing on my case, went to lengths to try and find out where I got their direct number from. (As if they are not meant to interact with us, customers). The rest of the discussion went South from thereon as I was told that, the company that I had spent the last 11 years with, could not help me and I was told in no uncertain terms that I was free to leave Vodacom and go somewhere else.
It is so unfortunate, that a relationship that has lasted more that a decade, has to end like this.
