Out of principle, I do NOT pay for service I do not receive. You wouldn't pay for refuse removal if your refuse is not collected. Well, exactly the same way I will not pay for a telephone line that does not work, that in fact was broken by Telkoms own technicians. I have settled the bill up until the date that the technicians stuffed my line up. They took more than six weeks to try and fix it and still couldn't get it right. I cancelled the line completely. This was over a year ago. Now they want to charge me the six weeks time. And interest. And they have up my credit rating. Now they hand it to their attorneys VVM that pester people at 21h30 at night. I want to speak to a senior member of staff at Telkom to resolve this dispute. I have had enough of being over. I understand now why all the good people are leaving South Africa and emigrating. Hello Peter, please help, I want to keep faith in my country.
