I HAVE BEEN A LOYAL CUSTOMER FOR MTN FOR THE LAST 8 YEARS. I NEED TO UPGRADE ON THE CELLPHONE THE 1ST OF FEB AND HAVE BEEN ADVISED THAT I HAVE TO PAY AN UPGRADE FEE. I DON'T UNDERSTAND THE LOGIC BEHIND THIS IF I AM STAYING LOYAL TO THE SAME COMPANY FOR ANOTHER TWO YEARS. I HAVE NEVER GIVEN MTN ANY PROBLEMS WHEN IT COMES TO ME PAYING MY ACCOUNT - NOT ONCE DID I NOT PAY THE REQUESTED AMOUNT EVERYMONTH AND ALL I ASK IS FOR THE SAME LOYALTY TO BE EXTENDED BACK TO ME. I NEVER HAD TO PAY THIS R105 UPGRADE FEE AND REALLY DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT THE FEE IS FOR IN ANY CASE AND I HAVE CALLED THE CALL CENTRE WITH THE REFERENCE NUMBER 108230596 AND ALL I WAS TOLD IS THAT ITS AN UPGRADE FEE AND NO ACCURATE EXPLANATION. I DON'T WANT AND NOR AM I WILLING TO PAY THIS FEE, IF THIS CANNOT BE RECTIFIED OR REMOVED I REQUEST THAT MY CONTRACT BE CANCELLED.
