18 July I wanted to get a cell for my son's birthday. I contacted Vodacom Tygervalley after Telkom Mobile advised me that they only have Sony Xperia Go and was out of stock. I asked if Vodacom had any Xperia on promo and was asked which one and I said Go because it was on my mind then. When I got to the store to sign the contract I saw the saleslady had an Xperia J.At this stage the box of the Go was unopened. I asked what the promo on the J was and he gave the current brochure. I then said that the J was just R30p/m more than the Go. He continued to open the box to attach the cover even though I was clearly indicating to him that I wanted a better phone. I told him that he could have offered me the J as i was prepared to pay more but he said that i had asked for the go when i called.to this i responded that he didn't offer or inform me differently. I called the Friday morning just after 9am to enquire about alternative resolution and was told that the contract would not be activated to resolve the matter as i offered to pay for the phone or take the J if possible. Today I called the call centre to enquire about the activation delay period and was informed it was activated on Friday
