Cannot transfer my numbe

I spoke to Siyabonga from Cell C direct on the 4/10/13 and applied for the Sony Xperia C, I told him I have a current Cell C number that I wanted the contract to be loaded on, He said that was fine and can be done when I receive the phone. I received my phone on the 18/10/13 10 working days after I applied!!! When I called applications on the Friday they said I should wait for the contract to be activated then they could transfer, Today when I called in activations told me that there is no request and cannot transfer my number. This is really poor, I want my contracted sorted out! Plus Cell C sent me a normal size SIM when my phone take a Micro sim!!!
