Bad phone and data couverage in Gordon's Bay

For the past few months I have been having problems with my data package especially. I have 2 data packages and both of them are so slow that it sometimes takes up to three minutes to open Google, if the browser doesn't freeze up. This only happens on certain days, but mostly I only get EDGE reception and not even 3G or HSDPA. The last I have heard the tower in Gordon's Bay was blown over by the wind or something. I did lodge a complaint - the reference no is 0013Ha8F263C17B8, but they only responded by asking me to verify the request with some more info, - which I did, but I have received no response since. I then went to the local branch in Somerset West to see if I can't get the contract cancelled and what it would cost to do so, but they told me (after letting me wait 30 minutes for a consultant) that I have to phone Vodacom to arrange this. I can't see why I have to pay for a service that I can't use and if it is available, its at a snails pace. My calls has also been cut off constantly over the last 2 months and the newest trend is that I phone someone, no-one picks up but the counter runs on the phone asif I'm talking to someone, which means I'm probably paying for the call.
