Poor data delivery for the past seven years

My complaint started 7 years ago together with various other farmers about the very slow data delivery in the Malgas area near Swellendam. It takes 14 hrs to down load 40 Mb and 20min to upload a 1 Mb attachement to G-mail. This is a Holiday resort area surrounded by Farms with a large income base for Vodacom. My Vodacom account over the past 7 years was about R250 000 but they continue to give poor service. I am on a Farm about 8 km from the Vodacom tower in line of sight. Complaints was directed to the call center and the local branch as it is impossible to reach any managerial person who will take responsibility for the complain. The local technician from Vodacom suggest that we all upgraded to the the new data stick that will improve the data speed. On purchasing the stick with a contract we where told that it wont increase the speed as the hardware in the tower is the problem. Easter weekend my daughter receive 3G from cell C while with Vodacom still on Edge. Cell C rents space on the Vodacom tower. Vodacom advertise on TV 3G every where. I directed another complaint to the call center Easter weekend with no response from Vodacom.
