When taking in my Tablet i just found out Cell C offers a 1 year warranty on Samsung products. While submitting the phone for repair i was told the sales person should have told me about the 1 year warranty. I can assure you if i was told about the 1 year warranty (for a 2 year contract) i would not have taken the device!!! Secondly, phone is sent in for repairs and i get a txt saying its R773.98c for repair - i enquire on the repair & then get told its the battery unit needing replacement (just out of 6 month warranty - i have device 7 months).
I went thru all paperwork lastnight, it mentions nothing about a 1 year warranty, however you sign a sheet saying the salesman informed you. Obviously how can i prove that for i signed. I have been a Cell C customer for almost 9 years and being over is becoming a norm. I will cancel all contracts with them, take the knock and move on.
Im pretty sure if Cell C should advertise in their catalogues "1 year warranty" they would lose plenty business - i will make it my concern to let people know out there on every media platform i can access about this for Cell C aint informing people or advertising properly. (ref CLC 939 296)
