I sent my phone in for a warranty repair on 12 January 2014. On 30 January I received a message informing me my device had been handed to a technician, 18 days later! At the beginning of this week, 3 January, I called the repair centre and was told a replacement had been booked out and I'd have my phone at the end of the week. Today, 7 January, I called and after 20 minutes and 6 operators later I was told there is no stock of my phone and could not be told when there would be.
It is ridiculous that I have had to wait almost four weeks for something as simple as a device replacement. If the Apple warranty had been honoured, I should have been handed a new phone immediately.
I would like my device replaced with a new black iPhone 5 by this weekend and if that's not available, Cell C must make a better offer.
