This is the second posting about vodacom with regards to my bb handset, my bb stopped working (still under 2year warranty) vodacom "fixed" it sent it back to me it broke again a couple days later. I sent BB back again I received a refurbished unit from them. This also only lasted a while and broke. I sent it for repairs (still under 2 year warranty) and was given a qoute of R880 to repair the charging unit, i queried this and then was told its beyong repair and that they wont fix or bother replacing this unit. (All this still under the 2 year warranty).
Contacted Headoffice Snr Consultant and he said I was only given a 3 months warranty on the refurbished unit they gave me that broke as well and they are not going to repair or replace as its beyond repair.
I took the BB unit to cell repair shop and had it repaired in 30min at a cost of R150. This unit is now fine and working well.
Vodacom as NOT interested in customer satisfaction and that 2 year warranty is a waste of time and effort.
