I bought a iPhone 5 that is less than 1 month old from someone that got it on upgrade from Cell C.
Turns out there is a problem with the earpiece not working.
So no problem, according to Apple it is under warranty until July 2014, so I took it to iStore.
Their service is always fantastic but sadly the technician told me this phone was imported by Cell C and they need to process the warranty claim.
Cell C will not repair the phone, even though I have the original invoice.
Bottom line is if you buy anything that came from Cell C, you probably don't have the warranty that the manufacturer intends you had for their product.
Why have this attitude, Apple pay for the replacement and there is no indication of water damage or such (moisture indicator is white). This phone is less than a month and clearly Cell C should not be selling Apple products.
Cell C, stick to selling Blackberry.
