I was contacted by Vodacom and asked if I wanted to migrate to the Red Advantage package. I asked what the costs are, for then I was on the Talk500 package with a MyMeg250 data bundle. The total for this came to about R935 including itemised billing and caller identity.
I was told on the phone that The Red Advantage package price was R1000-00. I asked the person if that includes everything and she replied yes. I thought it good to change over to that package because the advantages are a lot more. the following day another lady phoned me asking if she could explain to me all the advantages the package includes. I was a bit busy at that stage and asked her if she could phone me later. I also asked her if the R1000 includes everything to which she also responded and said yes that the only amount I have to pay is the R1000.
Invoice time came and it was not as stated. The amount was about R1136-00. I called the customer care line and stated my problem. They gave me a refference number and sms and said that they will get the recordings because their calls are recorded. I never got feedback again.
I phoned again and again with still no joy.
