Yesterday I phoned vodacom to ask to migrate from a Talk120s package which costs R300 per month with no other extras to a Smart medium package which includes 120 anytime minutes as well as 300 sms and 300Mb data for R299.
According to Vodacom I am migrating to a "lower" package and therefore have to pay a R663 migration fee.
Can some one please explain this to me, because looking at the 2 packages the Smart Medium package looks like an upgrade to me.
According to the shop assistant there is better support on the Talk 120s package and that is the reason for the migration fee. Can somebody explain this concept as well?
