MTN's new CallerXchange service is HORRIBLE. It locks up your phone after every call and makes it impossible to use after receiving calls until you reboot the phone. I never signed up for this rubbish why do I have it?
After spending 45 minutes with operators passing me between 5 departments (Customer Care -> 1555 ->Customer Care -> Retentions -> Customer Care) I gave up. They couldn't even find the service on their systems.
Mean while a colleague sitting next to me and understanding my frustration found the following method to disable it on Google for iPhone: Go to Settings --> Phone --> SIM Applications --> MTN Menu --> CallerXchange and disable it from there.
Why couldn't the 5 people I spoke to tell me this? Why was I ever automatically signed up for this terribly irritating service?
