Complaint: re Vodacom Client service
On Saturday 24 April I did a change of ownership of one of my cell phone contracts to a friend's name. On the 31 May my account was debited with the amount of R1531.78 for the cell phone number that was transfer to my friend. His account was then also debited on the 07/06/2013 for the account.
I phoned Vodacom 082 111 on Saturday 8 June when I was checking my monthly banking statements and notice the debit. I spoke to Thembelihle at 16h50 on Saturday afternoon and he said that he can't help me as the accounts department doesn't work over weekend and I need to phone back in the week. I only got to phone back on 18 June and spoke to Yandisa who logged a call for someone from accounts to phone me back. I was advised to send proof of the account that was incorrectly debited as well as a copy of my ID. Call ref no: S3-TSA28-8O7QI . I send a 7 page fax on Wednesday 19 June to 0860082082 at 7h15. Included in the fax was my covering letter explaining what has happened, copy of my ID, copy of debit on bank statement, copy of fiends bank statement reflecting his debit as well as well as my account invoices.
