VODACOM CAUSING ME TO HAVE A BAD CREDIT RECORD

I defaulted on a Vodacom account & was handed over to MBD for collection.
I settled the account within 3 days of beng contacted. what is frustrating is i was not notified that my contract was ongoing although it eneded, so they were billing me for the extra months because i thought it would automatically stop. no one from Vodacom called to say my contract is ending would i love to renew it, no. they continued billing me and now i have a default which is rather pedantic. i want them to clear this mess because even the amout they listed me with is wrong and they just ignoring my emails. MBD assured me that i would not be listed if i paid up and i did because i care about my credit scoring. now i cant even apply for a cellphone contract because Vodacom has ruined my life, i want to buy a car but guess ill be stuck with public transport for a long time. i asked the lady from legal to send me the proof of their claim on efforts to contact me but nothing even today ive been trying to get the company to assit me but no one seems to be interested.
