Vodacom is refusing to remove default

I took out a cell business phone contract with Vodacom in April 2010, unfortunately my account fell into arrears at the end of 2011 because I struggled to pay my bills. So Vodacom listed a default on ITC for R4500 in January of 2012. I settled the account in full In August 2012 and kindly requested the default removed from ITC. They have plainly refused to send instruction to ITC to remove it. They have also deleted my cellphone number and refused to give give it back. Vodacom is being very unreasonable by not allowing the default to be removed and is subjecting customers to unfair ITC listings. Right now I need to apply for home finance and I'm being refused credit because of the Vodacom default. Vodacom is bullying customers and blaming the NCA, I hope that one day customers will realise that Vodacom does not care about them, all they are interested is money and seeing the lives of customers destroyed. Some companies are happy to allow a default to be removed if the owed amount has been fully, Vodacom is the only company I know that refuses to allow this. I will never do business with Vodacom ever again and I am actively discouraging my friends & everyone on twitter & facebook.
