Airtime & other balances myseriously down to zero
I have a blackberry contract with MTN since December 2011. I rarely use my fone to make fone calls, nor do I sms very much because of the free Blackberry internet service. This is why I was very surprised when on attempting to make a fone call, I discovered that practically overnight, my airtime balance (which had been in excess of R300) had mysteriously vanished. ALL MY BALANCES were zero. On calling MTN's helpline, Kegan Harris, who attempted to assist me (call reference 101041946) informed me that there had been some subscription services which had taken all my airtime. I do not subscribe to anything. I only sms very close friends. I NEVER subscribe to anything. MTN has the obligation, as EXPERTS in telecommunication, to protect its clients from these vultures, and take responsibility when vultures from their clients as they had infiltrated a weakness in MTN's network. All Kegan said he could do was end the subscriptions and email the vultures to ask them to give my airtime back. This makes no sense. I want MTN to give me my airtime back, as it was a weakness in their system that caused this. And I want to be protected in future from these things. PLEASE
