Failing to install Fixed & ADSL Lines

I have on the 31st of May 2013, applied for a Telkom fixed line as well as ADSL line at my home. Telkom contacted me and assisted with the application. I had to contact them the next day to get my order number which was supposed to be sent to me. The order number: 370143/32. Then I received an sms stating that Telkom would install on the 7th of June 2013, and it would be a "Full Day" installation, where I need to present a copy of my ID. I would need to stay home for this as I work 80km from home. Telkom never pitched, and never called. Then I followed up with them, and found out no number was allocated, so I need to wait 2 hours. I then received another sms stating they would install on the 11th June 2013, also a full day installation, yet no one pitched and no one called. When I contacted them again, they said that no appointment was scheduled and they would install on the 13th June 2013. I am highly fed up with this as Telkom is keeping me from my work as I need to sit at home and wait for nothing!!! Can someone please explain to me, is going on and when my lines will be installed?? Is it really that difficult to keep to your word?
