I had R800 Airtime accumulated on my contract which was about to expire so called 808 to enquire if I could transfer it to another MTN user, was told yes I could but only to a pay as u go subscriber. So they sent me forms & I got it set up, I then transferred R150 to someone (rather get it used than let it expire right).
I called next day to get my airtime & it had not been taken off, yet the person had the airtime I sent them.
So I called 808 to ask why, was told that I got lucky & this person got free airtime. I asked are you sure its not going to be ADDED to my bill, was ASSURED no ways, it WONT. I then waited a few days & transferred another R150 & once again didn't come off my account. A few days later my bill was R300, so called 808 again & was told that one cannot transfer contract airtime left over, AT ALL!! Wow, so why did I bother do all this effort?
So I insist they fix it, they promised to, I called back end of month & they have conveniently not got the recorded conversation which would PROVE MY side. This was 3 different MTN staff saying I could, assuring me, & now I am billed extra R300!!! CRAzy and I want my account credited.
