On 27th Feb 2013, I went to the Vodacom store in Sandton to extend my contract and switch from Blackberry to iPhone. This was done and I added additional data bundles etc so that i could now use the iPhone having "cancelled" my BB.
Imagine my suprise, that I have been billed for the past 3 month for BB. I phoned the call centre and was told it is not their problem and I shoudl have deactivated it and must go back to the branch. I was under the impression this was deactivated as I took a new contrcat on the iPhone. Just because the branch has not done their job must I now be inconvenienced - come on Vodacom this is your error - sure it can be fixed.
I expect the reimbursement asap as have been paying for a service that was cancelled (even if your staff did not capture on computer)! Shocking as always - very willing to take your customers money until we find out and query it!
