Upgraded beginning of year to iPhone 5. A month or 2 after having the phone the screen turned an assortment of colours. Blue/green/grey and touch screen would not work. I did not recall dropping the phone. took it back to MTN cedar square to see if they could sort it out. They said they would send it to the repair centre and it would take up to 2 weeks. 2 weeks later I phoned to find out what was happening they informed me it would cost in the region of R2500 to fix. I said no as it is still under warranty AND insured. They then started the insurance process with 24hr mobility. I submitted a claim form to MTN. I call a week later to see whats happened. Now I am told they lost the claim form because they changed their email addresses at the store. Nevertheless submit the claim form again to new email address. Then wait a further week. Phone again only to find out the store has been robbed and is closed for a week while everyone is on trauma counselling. store reopens. i phone once more and am told to phone the insurance. Then MTN then insurance than MTN for IMEI repair centre documents etc. WILL I EVER GET MY PHONE CONSIDERING THE EXORBITANT BILLS I PAY FOR INSURANCE AND FOR IPHONE?
