Bad service, bad attitude and NO RESOLUTION

In April, my mtn debit orders had bounced due to insufficient funds because of bank charges. I received a mail billing me for twice the amount due. I phoned to cancel the contract (I spoke to 4 agents) I was told that my account was settled. The contract was then cancelled (I assumed the debits order had gone through at this point as I had deposited funds in the account). I was told I was free to use up the remaining bundle and after the 7th of June I would have to load prepaid airtime. Yesterday, I received an sms to say my account was in arrears, if it had been paid to ignore it, having called the automated service told me that that service was not available for prepaid customers (at this point I thought that the contract was cancelled and everything was fine). This morning they called me in a very harassing manner saying that I owed them, I asked the agent to refer back to the accounts and the reference number. Immediately after the call my number was suspended (I was not warned during the call). I made an arrangement to pay the account but was told that I couldn't cancel it until it was paid.the implication here is that I am bound to them for another month, increasing the original debt.
