No response from insurance claim

Almost three weeks ago on the 29 Nov, I gave my cell in for repairs after I dropped it and the screen smashed. I have had it for nearly 2 years and took out insurance the day I started the contract with Vodacom. I filled in all the necessary documents including the insurance claim form at the shop. A couple of days after that the repair person called me and asked if I want to continue with the repair at... cost. I told them that it is insured and they told me that they did not receive the insurance forms with the phone. I then had to go back to the Vodacom shop where I filled in the insurance forms again. They told me they lost the first batch of forms. A week later I haven't heard anything from Vodacom and decided to give them a call. They told me that I can come fetch my phone from the shop. When I got there the phone was still not repaired. I then asked to speak to the manager - she told me that they have sent in the insurance claim forms and that she will find out and give me a call back within the hour about the status of the insurance claim. That never happened. Today is Wednesday 12 Dec. I still haven't heard a thing from Vodacom.
