To me so Lost the deal

I cannot express how cross I am at Cell C.
1. I was on contract with Vodacom;
2. Because of the R399 iphone deal and "great rates" of Cell C I wanted to migrate to Cell C;
3. I cancelled my contract with Vodacom, but wanted to keep my number, so I would downgrade to "pay as you go" which would take effect on 1 May 2013, thereafter i could easily move over to Cell C and keep my number;
4. I went in store at V @ A waterfront 2 weeks ago and as there was a "waiting list" for the iphone, they suggested I call the Customer Care centre.
5. On 29 April 2013, i called the customer care centre In a panic and said I read your terms and conditions and they said the deal for R399 will end on 1 May 2013.
6. The sale assistant said NO, absolutely not, the deal is still on and i can call after the 1st and get the deal. I was at work and very busy so this suited me better. I ASKED HER AGAIN"ARE YOU SURE THE DEAL WILL STILL BE ON" she said "YES, ABSOLUTELY". I specifically asked her: "So will the prices go down or be the same" She laughed at me, and said "No they will not get more expensive, they will remain the same".
TO MY SURPRISE AND HORROR THE DEAL IS NOW MORE EXPENSIVE!
