I joined Virgin Active in Hazeldean Pretoria Last Year. When I joined I told the guy I was in the process of getting medical aid through Discovery and My membership through Vitality would be cheaper. He said I can gym, I just need to sign a "temporary contract" until I get my Vitality in order. Unforeseen circumstances We could not get medical aid due to my husband only working 3 days a week. I went back to the gym and told the guy I can not gym any longer I cant afford 400 per month, that is taking food out of my family's mouth.
Now today I got a call from MBD THREATENING ME to pay R1200 or else... I have not been to the gym at all, and I paid for the 4 weeks I was there!!! How can you just take money from people? I cant afford any payments at the moment. I have been short listed at work and my salary has been cut by half!!! How can I CANCEL THIS PLEASE!!! I CANT PAY THIS IM SORRY! I refuse to, I have not used the gym at all. And The Sales Guy said he will process my contract as soon as my medical aid is activated. Guess I got mislead!!!
