I joined Discovery on the 1 .10.2012 and never had Vitality. I then phoned and got my Vitality activated, not realising i should contact my employer directly, NOT vitality. i paid the the joining fee for Virgin Active Beacon Bay of R745.00 and the paid the discounted rate for 3 months - R97.
Because my vitality was not done directly through my emloyer, it was cancelled without my knowing, and Virgin Active deducted the normal rate of R519.00. I picked this up and enquired, thats when i found out all this. i have since got my vitality activated, but Vitality do not want to give me the discounted gym rate for Virgin Active. This is totally unfair, as i have paid the intial once off fee of R745.00 and i am a vitality member now. Every time i phone, NO ONE seems to be able to assist me. The cut off date for sorting this out is fast approaching and still no one can assist me. i cannot afford to pay the normal rate of R519.00, this is the reason i joined Vitality, and now they giving me these problems. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND I WILL NOT STAND FOR THIS, AS IT IS UNFAIR TOWARDS CUSTOMERS.
PLEASE i need someone to contact me and sort this out, I WILL NOT PAY THAT AMOUNT AGAIN.
