I work very close to Shoprite Cosmo City and l go there quite often. One time l went there to buy Dark and Lovely relaxer and the cashier pretended not to find a barcode on the box and instead took my cash, equivalent to the price of relaxer, didn't give me receipt and told me to go she would make the payment later. My guess was that she just wanted to the money but since l was rushing back to work, l left. Yesterday l went to buy something for lunch and a cashier gave me change which was 30c less, not a big amount but what worries me is that it was done deliberately and without an apology expalining that they were out of brown coins. When l shared my expenriences with some people in Cosmo City they told me they are now used to getting, every now and then, R2 or even R10 short and to top it all up - the attitude of the staff is just so bad and professionalism and customer care doesn't seem to exist in their world.
