2 months ago a 'technician' sent by Whirlpool SA charged me R580 to replace a part on my faulty (2 year old only) Whirlpool dishwasher. The machine still didn't work. Another technician sent by Whirlpool told me the part doesn't exist on my dishwasher and I had been fleeced. The dishwasher, obviously still didn't work. The machine was then fitted with a new motor. R1200. Still doesn't work. Haven't seen it for the best part of 2 months, now waiting for parts, which parts they don't know. Whirlpool customer service shocking, apathetic telephone operators placing on hold for hours on end. Gansen Govender, the only helpful chap there has gone on long term leave and the operators tell me Ben de Wit, head of customer service 'doesn't speak directly' to the public. You couldn't make it up... Still hoping
