I bought a Whirlpool dishwasher in January 2013. The weekend 10-11 August, it stopped heating up. I called the service centre on Monday 12 August as it is still under warranty. A technician came out, said it was the heater and would get back to me. There are no parts in South Africa and it must be ordered from Germany. I have subsequently called to be told a supervisor would get back to me and no return call yet. The part is apparently still on order. Why so long? It is now 4 weeks and my dishwasher still has not been repaired.
