I purchased a Whirlpool washing machine last year - it has started making a terrible noise. When I
purchased the machine from Makro - they advised they would do everything in getting the issues sorted (I purchased an extended warranty from them). I called them on the 3rd Oct and was sent a reference and phone number (whirlpool were supposed to contact me within 24 hours) - on the 7th I called to see what was happening as I had not received any calls. The technician then called and said he would go out to check. I called him later but he didnt take my call to see what needed to be done - I then called the Call Centre and they advised they need a new part. I called yesterday (15/10) to see what was happening and was told they would call the technician. Couldnt get hold of him so said they would call me back. Today I had still not received the callback - so I called. Told that they waiting for the part and "should": get it sometime next week. My concern is that the technician said I could continue using the machine (as per Call centre 7/10), but the noise is getting worse. Not good for a machine that cost over R5000!!!
