I called the shop where we purchased our Whirlpool Dishwasher, they told me the machine was still under guarantee and they would send a technician to look at it. He took it away to his workshop and said he would order a part to repair it. That was 3 weeks ago, yesterday I threw all my toys out of the cot and spoke to some chap at the head office in JHB . All of a sudden the machine is no longer under guarantee, and they will fix it but it might take another 2 weeks. SHOCKING SHOCKING service from Whirlpool, I have always supported Whirlpool and all the products in my home are from them.
What Whirlpool don't know and clearly don't care about, it that we are building our holiday home, one thing is for sure when it comes to purchasing new appliances for our holiday home, I WILL NEVER EVER spend another cent with Whirlpool. We need a new washing machine, dishwasher, Dryer, fridges and freezers, and that is just the start.
We are bitterly disappointed in the attitude and service from Whirpool.
