The item was faulty and i returned it to the supplier in October 2012. They have given me a a new unit which i assumed was refurbished. In December 2012 the unit burned out completly and i have returned the unit back to the shop where i purchased it, however i have received no response from the service department. I have spoken to the Manager in Customer Care (Pule) and no reply since the time i have delivered the unit. The unit was returned later in December and its almost end of January 2013. I am highly disgusted with the level of after sales service / support.
I have sinced by advised by Kagiso that there is nothing that they can do to assist me, as the supplier told them that they not going to replace it.
I have purchased various goods over the past few years to the value of R50k from various Hi Fi Corp outlets.
I am left with a very bitter taste from this incident and i will not recommend any of my friends and family to support this business.
I hope i will receive a favourable response from the Hi Fi Corp management team, as a result from this complaint.
