I upgraded my contract with VODACOM 4U (under the escalators) and the Clearwater Mall, Roodepoort in December 2012. Within 3 Days I discovered that there was an issue with the Battery and returned the unit.
I was told that it would have to be sent in and I complained, the battery was then swopped out. And that was it, 2 days later i returned to Vodacom informing them the battery would not hold charge, I was then informed that it will take 3 weeks for the unit to be assessed and only then a replacement unit provided (Service center pending). when the unit was returned I was told that it was out of warrenty as there was dust UNDER the screen. The unit was then sent into Blackberry directly as they could not fix it. So i accepted it and sent the unit in. Nearing the end of January I only received the unit back and used till mid March. I have now discovered it is starting the same problems and now again I am told the unit will have to go in for 3/4 weeks for assesment.
this would be the 4/5th time the unit is now going in, in 1 YEAR! and still I am told that I as the client must just wait?? i want to know what is going to be done regarding service and the unit that now is not working?
