October 2012 we purchase a tv unit and coffe table from homechoice. The back and forth for the delivery should have been a warning sign of how wrong things could get. in the interim, we receive an sms for the account to be paid. We eventually receive the tv unit on the 23/02/2013. Their guys setting up the unit damages the unit and we request they take it back. Their response is they cannot, they are just the courier company. We phone homechoice to have the unit returned, which they assure us they will replace it. After 2 months of waiting for the tv unit to be collected and replaced and still waiting for the coffee table to be delivered, and countless phonecalls, we insist on cancelling. All this time we are being billed interest and for the 2 units, of which one was still not received.12/06/2013, we receive an sms from VVM collections that we have been handed over for non payment. We now have to submit an affidavit stating we never received the coffe table for it to be removed from the account, and I still await feedback as to when the tv unit will be collected. I WILL NOT recommend to anyone, if asked. I want to know how this will be sorted, immediately and my ITC repaired!!!
