POOR SERVICE ON ORDER

I returned my Sony H/T system (Order no 1384874 and ref no RRN-89c5-3b3c) on 20-01-2014 after the unit was freezing and I had to restart it from the mains all the time. After not getting a single response for almost two weeks, I contacted Takealot on 04-02-2014 to enquire. I was told that they were awaiting feedback from the supplier. I was sent an email by Pamela Hashe this morning to say there is a problem with the mother board.

I'm really disappointed with the service. Why should I have to wait for almost a month for something which is not my fault? Why can't you guys just not replace the unit as there is stock available on your website and it is not my fault that the unit turned out to be faulty. I only used it once. I've ordered from DionWired on numerous occasions and whenever problems such as these occur, they instantly offer a refund or replace the unit.
I don't want a unit that is fixed as I paid for a brand new item. Either replace the unit or refund me!! All in all I'm very disappointed at this poor service and will definitely think twice before placing another order with takealot because they are clearly not dependable.
