I purchased a Acer netbook in October 2012. On Saturday 6/04/2013 the unit just switches off and I couldn't restart it again. I called the Acer Support Center on the 08/04/2013 and spoke to Sizwe. I explained to him what was with the unit and he told me that he was booking it in with them and that the unit would be collected. I explained to Sizwe that the unit had valuable data on it and I clearly asked him would they be deleting the data or could they rescue it for me, which his response was that he would make that part of the repair request. On the 11/04/2013 I received my unit back. I started the unit and it switched on and then all of a sudden it gave a blue screen error and switched off again. I read the receipt inside the box and it stated the following:

1. Mainboard and hard drive replace unit blue screening
2. Unit not tested as PC Doctor server was down (10/04/20130

Clearly the technician sent the unit back knowingly it was still faulty. I had to call the call center back and had my unit return to the repair center. I done many call and was told managers were going to call me back, nothing to date. I will not recommend anybody to buy ACER . Their customer service!
