Cut long stories short, I purchased a JVC homethere R3799 system from Stax dunkeld, unit is under 1years manufacture warranty. I am nw based in durban, so booked the unit in for repair 6/12/2013 for disc not reading fault, 3 days later I had a call from Anita @ maxi care stating the unit cannot be repaired and there is a credit to be passed on the unit. i then mentioned that I am in Dbn and would really apprciate if my unit could be repaired contacted NUWORLD (Pranesh) jhb who stated they will fetch the unit from my business premesis 4days later, the unit was sent to jhb and Pranesh technical team discovered the lazer needs to b adjusted, and the unit will b fine.. it s was nightmare off conversation back and forth with pranesh whos rudeness got the better of him, difficult person to get hold off and intolerant as Nuworld service manager i drd my purchase. with all this i still wanted my unit cause the item was excellent. the unit came to me the 22 december 2013, my remote and not been returned so i couldnt really test and operate this item. 24 december2013, brian general manager is handling this issue yet to date unit is not working and cant get hold off BRIAN today is my 21st call.
