My Girlfriend tried to buy a few items at egit on Friday (23 Aug) during her lunch time with her credit card. The total of these items was R409.97 the card machine showed that the card was approved but no slip came out. They said it wasn't approved and refused to check that there was actually paper in the machine. They took the items which were actually paid for and said she had to get a bank statement to prove the purchase and come back Saturday.
Seeing as she works weekends I went in her stead but I was told the items weren't there anymore and when I asked for a refund they said there was no manager. Really? On a Saturday? They said they would phone by lunch time today (26 Aug) but no phone call! And when I try to phone them (0119752577) it's always engaged! What service! We have spent R20 on statements now and more than 4hours in that shop or at the bank to sort this out!
Somebody has to do something! We want that refund! Won't shop there ever again! That one shop is giving Legit the worst name they could have!
