Signed up with SEESA to help with legal compliance for my startup. Paid in full. They sent me a certificate — no actual policy documents, no real service, nothing useful.
I canceled within 3 business days of payment, exactly as allowed under the Consumer Protection Act and their own contract. They first promised a refund… then backtracked and claimed I “still owe” for a cancellation period. For a service they never delivered.
Turns out this is a pattern. SEESA has a history of continuing to debit customers even after cancellation. I'm now being forced to block them at the bank and escalate to the NCC, CGSO, and Small Claims Court just to get my money back.
Don’t fall for the “we’ll assist your business” pitch. They lock you into vague promises, deliver almost nothing, and then act like you’re the problem for asking questions.
Avoid SEESA unless you want to pay for fresh air and a fight.
