On numerous occasions whilst shopping at foschini - ballito, i have noticed that the staff there are always busy with paper work. In the past, i was asked to wait at the till until they were finished with the paper work. and all this being during the busy lunch-hours. What happened to customers come first??
Two days ago i went to purchase a ring and another item, and the card machine was offline so i asked them to keep my items aside and i will be back for them in a day or two.
i went back today and was pleased that both items were still there. i paid for both items separately, as their system does not allow them to invoice out jewelery and clothing on one invoice.
after the cashier finished, she gives my ring to me and tells me they have no boxes. so im supposed to carry my ring just like that. which i think is completely pathetic. then she tells me they just got finished. which was a as i was there two days ago and they didnt have boxes either.
is this the kind of customer service that customers should be subjected to every time we shop at this store?
or maybe this has become the new standard of customer service amongst the various retailers in ballito.
