Debit Order went through on the wrong date

I purchased goods on credit in December 2012 at Menlyn Game store, and filled in an application form authorising a debit order to go through on the 27th of every month because pay day is on the 25th and to my suprise it went off on the 23rd of January 2013, and I had withdrawn money from my account before then. This left my account reflecting a negative balance, when I called customer care I was told to call my bank to reverse the debit order.

You don't just reverse a debit order, there are charges involved and i'm suppose to be accountable for their mistakes. I gave correct information and, something else was captured, even my Postal address was wrong so clearly I was not even going to get my statements. I regret my purchase.

I will not reverse the debit order after paying off this account, Im never stting foot at Game because clearly they've got some incompetent people working there, which is costly to their customers.
