Complaint

I bought a denim skirt from the store, priced R299, with a 50% markdown red sticker. I got the skirt on rail where almost 10 similar skirt were hanged all having the same sticker of 50% markdown. When I went to pay the cashier told me that it was a mistake that the sitcker was still there as the price has reverted to R299 without the discount. Then I had took the time to explain to the cashier that I am just aa client who takes for granted that the store is responsible for the pricing and if there are changes it is their fault and not the client to determine the correct price of the goods. Therefore I expect to have a 50% discount, the cashier then called the floor Manager called Freddy, who came and argued with me that the discount tags were removed two days back and that I was lying and may have brought the tag in the store. I insisted that he checks the cameras but he refused to do so. I finally bought the skirt at a regular price because I wanted it, but to be called a by the floor manager who even refuseed to check the camera as he assumed they were not positioned to capture the area where the rails were, which I dont believe, was totaly unacceptable.
