I bought a lounge suite from Russels Kuilsriver 2 years ago. I never received a statement from the shop for 2 years. I went to the shop to enquire about my account, they checked and saw that my address was incorrect. They changed it to the correct address. I asked for a detailed statement from the date I bought the suite up until now, because I was quering the outstanding amount. The cashier told me to call the Head Office and request it from them as she can't print me one. I called the Head Office a couple of time, I finally got through to someone. I gave them my request and was told that I will receive the statement in 7 days. That was 4 months ago. Eversince then, I've called a couple of times with the same request and got the same answer, but still no statement, but every month I get a "friendly" reminder to make payment. I'm very unhappy about this and I think their service and would never ever buy something from them again.
